MEMORIAL RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Herman E. Schutt, was called to his eternal reward at the age of 85, on January 25, 2013; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Margaret Laurino, Alderman of the 39th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Herman Schutt was an active and vital member of his community. The beloved husband of Noella; loving father of Christine (Craig) Voss, Kathryn (Brian) Kinnear, Greta (Allan) McDonald and Paul (Julie) Schutt; dearest grandfather of Nicholas, Anneliese and Peter Voss, Kara, Patrick and Kayle Kinnear, Caitlin (Craig) Colbrook, Sean, Kevin and Timothy McDonald, Luke, Emily and Ella Schutt; greatgrandfather of Amelia Jean Colbrook; dear brother of the late Mary (Harold) Herdrich; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, Herman Schutt leaves a legacy of faith, compassion, dignity and love; and
WHEREAS, Herman Schutt will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character, intelligence and compassion will live on in those who knew and loved him; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered here this thirteenth day of February 2013, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Herman E. Schutt and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
Be It Further Resolved, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Herman E. Schutt.
