BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1: On behalf of the City of Chicago as Tenant, the Commissioner of the Department of Fleet and Facility Management is authorized to execute a Sublease with the National League of Cities as Landlord for use of approximately 1,750 square feet of building space located at 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C for Office space; such Sublease to be approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel in substantially the following form:

SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be effective from and after the date of its passage and approval.
AGREEMENT OF SUBLEASE
THIS AGREEMENT OF SUBLEASE ("Agreement of Sublease") is made and effective as of January 1, 2015, by and between NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation ("NLC"), and CITY OF CHICAGO, a municipal corporation and home rule unit of government under the laws ofthe State of Illinois ("City").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, NLC leases certain space located in the building located at 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue, N. W., Washington, D.C. (the "Building"), from the owner ofthe Building (Vector-Quadrangle II Associates; "Landlord") pursuant to an agreement dated July 31, 1978, and attached hereto as Exhibit A (such agreement, as amended from time to time, the "Prime Lease"); and
WHEREAS, on February 23, 2005, NLC and City executed a Sublease (the "2005 Sublease") governing City's use of approximately 3,266 square feet of office space located on the 4,h floor of 1301 Pennsylvan...
