City Council January 27th, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Walter L Bailey, has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 84 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman ofthe 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Walter L Bailey; Beloved husband of Anna Mae nee Bailey for 67 years; loving father of Carol (Tom) Radja, Bobby Joe (Betty-Jo), Ron (Stacey) and Dave; cherished grandfather of Tommy (Michelle) Radja, Tammy Warren, Mike (Molly) Radja, Ali, Joey, Elizabeth, Sean (Bridget), Brett (Rachel), Devin (Scott), Brianna, Kaitlyn (Matt) Vilimas, Erin, David, Kelly; proud great grandfather of Tommy, Cole, Luke, Austin, Colin, Ben and Max; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Walter to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty seventh of January 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Walter L Bailey and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
