WHEREAS, Domenico Folino has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Domenico Folino; Beloved husband of the late Rosa (nee Cianflone); loving father of Constantino "Nino" (Georgian), Anthony (Cheryl), Rita (Anthony) Scorzo, Lucia (Mark) Blasucci, and Dominic (Ping) Folino; fond grandfather of Rosemarie (Daniel) Carocci, Gina, Anthony M. (Sarah), Stefanie, Ashley (Amir) Hashemi, Anthony D., Domenica, Michael C, Dominic J., Christina, and Rosella; great grandfather of Aldo, Luca, Giuliana, and Lorenzo; dear brother of Thomas (the late Lena) Folino, and the late Rosaria (the late Sebastiano) Mustari; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Domenco Folino to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twentieth day of September 2018, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Domenico Folino and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Domenico Folino.
