RESOLUTION
WHERE AS, Francis J. "Frank" Sullivan has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at ;the age of 91 to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Francis J. Sullivan, Beloved husband of Sally Sullivan for 63 years. Loving father of Molly'Sullivan (Hon. Thomas Murphy), Matt Sullivan, and the late Sara L. Sullivan. Proud "Papa" of Bb Turek (Rachelle'Richardson), Eleanor Turek, and Clare Sullivan. Beloved son of the late Francis J. and5 Margaret Sullivan. Dear brother of Betty (the late John) Moraghan,, Gene (Mary) Sullivan, Trudy (Gene) Schneider, Noreen Brady, the late Margaret "Honey" Moga, the late Patrick (Teresa) Sullivan, and the late Daniel Sullivan. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and
WHEREAS, Frank was an Alumnus of Loyola Academy and earned his B.A. at Loyola University Chicago; U.S. Army Veteran of Korean War; Frank was a newspaper reporter and public relations executive who served as Press Secretary for Mayor Richard J. Daley; and
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Frank to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty first of July 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Francis J. Sullivan and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Francis J. Sullivan.
