RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Mary Van Hecke (nee Botica) to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Mary Van Hecke beloved wife of the late Leonard. Loving mother of Larry (Cathy) and the iate Lenny (Janet). Cherished grandmother of John and Jessica; adored great-grandmother of Emiiy. Mary Van Hecke leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and the members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this 17^th day of January, 2018, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Mary Van Hecke and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOIVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Mary Van Hecke.
