RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Daniel Francis Krydynski has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 83 to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Born in Chicago to Felix B. and Veronica Gorski Krydynski on October 13, 1936, Daniel was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church in Chicago; He was raised in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago and was a 1955 graduate of De La Salle Institute; and

WHEREAS, Daniel was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army, serving 16 months as a medic with the 1 st Cavalry in Korea; and

WHEREAS, Daniel and Marlene Knappe were married January 10, 1959, at St. Mary of Perpetual Help Church, three children were born to their union; Daniel and Marlene had been married 37 years when Marlene passed away February 29, 1996; and

WHEREAS, Daniel was employed in customer service with the former Harris Composition and the former District National Bank, retiring in 1998; He was active in the Holy Name Society and served nearly 30 years as Scoutmaster of the former Troop 421, earning the Silver Beaver Award; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Francis Krydynski was preceded in death by his first wife, Marlene Krydynski; his parents; and five siblings; Daniel leaves his wife of nearly 18 years, Carol Rajewski Krydynski of Altenburg; three children, Ken (Cathy) Krydynski of Alsip, Illinois, Thomas (Susan) Krydynski of Jackson, Susan (Joe) Carmenaty of Alsip; two stepchildren, Jodie Everett of Alsip, Jeffrey (Maria) Everett of Chicago; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; also many friends and neighbors will mourn Daniel passing; and

WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Daniel to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
