RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Fong Hung Yee has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Fong Hung Yee, Beloved and devoted wife of the late Gum Ake Yee; Loving daughter of the late Hong Guey Lin Fong; Cherished mother of Peter (Diane), Andrew (the late Juliana), David (Hain), Judy, and Anna. Loving grandmother of Adam (Veronica) Yee, Dana Yee, Aaron (Joelle) Yee, Karen (Chris) Kim, Frances (Kris) Nequin, and Olivia (Vinnie) Leduc. Adoring great grandmother of Layla Yee, Kai & Makana Yee, Ethan Kim, Cayman, Brooklyn, & Hawthorne Nequin, and Eloise & Xavier Leduc.Fond sister-in-law of the late Fook Tang & Ngut Lan and the late Wai Ake-Ed (Cecelia); Loving aunt of Stan (Betty) Gin, Wayne (Mony), the late Sue (John) Wong, Paul (Sue), and Dan (the late Tracy) and great aunt of many nieces and nephews.; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Fong Hung Yee to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-second of April 2020, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Fong Hung Yee and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
