CONGRATULATIONS EXTENDED TO POLICE OFFICER PAMELA L. SUTTON ON RETIREMENT FROM THE CHICAGO POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, On December 13, 2017, Police Officer Pamela L. Sutton will retire from the Chicago Police Department following twenty-five years of dedicated public service; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Cpuricil has;been informed of this occasion by the Honorable Toni Foulkes,. Alderman of the 16th Ward; and
WHEREA, Police Officer Pamela L. Sutton, Star #13927, will retire as a valued member of the 7th District';'and
WHEREAS, Dedication to and fulfillment of the motto of the Chicago Police Department -"We Serve and Protect" - exacts a substantial physical arid emotional toll not only on the officers who must daily cope with the stress and danger of being life's arbitrator for countless citizens, but also on their family members; arid
WHEREAS, Throughout a long and distinguished tenure, Officer Pamela L Sutton upheld the finest traditions of the law enforcement community and her hard work,, commitment and dedication to duty earned,him the respect and admiration of her colleagues and the communities she;protected; and
WHEREAS, Police Officer Pamela L. Sutton devoted twenty-five years of'herlife in public service to the people of the City, of Chicago and in doing so has personally ensured that the City of Chicago is the safe, healthy and vibrant community it is today; and
WHEREAS, The leaders of- this great City of Chicago are cognizant of the great debt owed our public servants, and extend our sincerest gratitude to. the long and prolific career of Police Officer Pamela L. Sutton; now, therefore
