RESOLUTION CELEBRATING 100th BIRTHDAY OF TOBY NUDELMAN
WHEREAS, Toby Nudelman will celebrate her 100th birthday on July 28, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Chicago City Council has been informed of this momentous event by Alderman Debra L. Silverstein; and
WHEREAS, Toby Nudelman was born in Europe on July 28, 1917; and
WHEREAS, Toby Nudelman married Morris Nudelman, enjoying forty-seven years of matrimony; and
WHEREAS, Toby Nudelman has dedicated much of her life toward cultivating the youth, operating as a religious educator in Jewish day schools for numerous years; and
WHEREAS, Toby Nudelman devotedly served at Marshall Field's for a full five decades; and
WHEREAS, Toby Nudelman overcame unprecedented adversity and demonstrated extraordinary fortitude as a survivor of the Nazi Holocaust; and
WHEREAS, Toby Nudelman is a devoted mother to her beloved children, Helen and Jack. She has been blessed with two grandchildren - Laura and Ben - and multiple great-grandchildren. Toby Nudelman is a cherished friend to many, and richly deserves the warm and fond wishes of her family and friends as she marks her birthday celebration; now, therefore,
