Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to CHICAGO TRIBUNE COMPANY, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, two (2) Loading Platform Dock(s) on the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 435 N. Michigan Ave
Two existing loading platform docks under sidewalk on the east side of lower level of North Michigan Avenue:
Loading Platform Dock Number 1 is ten (10) feet six (6) inches in width and running in a northerly direction along the east line of North Michigan Avenue, from a point on the north line of East Hubbard Street, a distance of two hundred eighteen and nineteen hundredths (218.19) feet, to a point on the south line of East Illinois street.
Loading Platform Dock Number 2 is fourteen (14) feet, three (3) inches in width and three hundred (300) feet in length, running in a westerly direction along the south line of East Illinois Street, from the east line of lower North Michigan Avenue to the east line of North St. Clair Street.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1114829 herein granted the sum of fifty-eight thousand eight hundred thirty ($58,830.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
