WHfl&EAS, Donald T. Griffin has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 82; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson, Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Donald T. Griffin; Beloved husband of the late Anne. Devoted father of Jennifer (Paul) Beazley. Dear grandfather of Ethan. Loving son of the late Patrick (late Alice nee Glynn) Griffin. Dearest brother in law of the late Len, late Jim (Harriett), Jack, Dave and Nina. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; and a Lifelong Canaryville resident.
WHEREAS, His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Donald T. Griffin to his family members, friends and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago gathered here this twenty-third of January 2019, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Donald T. Griffin and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Donald T. Griffin.
