City Council January 27th, 2021
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Kit Mui Huie has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God at the age of 78 to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Patrick D. Thompson^ Alderman of the 11th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Kit Mui Huie nee Lee; beloved wife of the late Bock Yee Huie; loving mother of Lai Huie Raffel (Robert), Yee Huie, Han Huie, Che Huie-Castillo (Pedro),Ting Huie-Diaz (Arnold), Harvey Huie (Linda); cherished grandmother of Clifton Raffel, Belinda Raffel, Gabriel Castillo, Isabella Castillo, Maximilian Castillo, Emily Diaz, Alexander Diaz, Aaron Huie, Derek Huie; devoted daughter of the late Ngan Sum and the late Yiu Kai Li; dear sister of Charles Li, C.K. Li (Bill), Wing Li, Joe Li, Raymond Li, Serafina Rosa, Ling Ng (Grace), f sing Wong, Fanny Li; and
WHEREAS, Her love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Kit Mui Huie to her family members, friends and all who knew her, and enabled her to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty seventh of January 2021, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Kit Mui Huie and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kit Mui Huie.
