RESOLUTION
WHEREAS. Donald L. Kozicki has been called to eternal life by the wisdom of God to his eternal reward: and
WHEREAS. The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Nicole T. Lee. Alderwoman ofthe 11th Ward: and
WHEREAS. Donald "Donnie" L. Kozicki. was the 25 year loving companion of Christine Cabrera and was loved by his stepdaughter. Krishna and two granddaughters. Brianna and Alyssa. He is the younger brother of Richard and twin brother of Diane Callahan, uncle of Nicholas, and friend of many; and
WHEREAS. Donnie Kozicki was a U.S. Amy veteran with 2 tours of Vietnam, Commander of the Bridgeport V.F.W. Post 5079, member ofthe American Legion William McKinnley Post 231. Bridgeport Rangers SAC. Poorman Club SAC. 11th Ward Democratic Party, and 26 year former employee ofthe City of Chicago Streets and Sanitation Department; and
WHEREAS. His love of life and ability to live it to the fullest endeared Donald to his family members, friends and all who knew him. and enabled him to enrich their lives in ways they will never forget: now. therefore
BE IT RESOLVED. That we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago gathered here this twenty- fifth of May 2022. do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Donald T. Kozicki and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy: and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy ofthis resolution be presented to the family of Donald T. Kozicki.
