WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Wayne Kempf to his eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Wayne L. Kempf Sr. age 93 WWII Naval Aviator. Beloved Husband of the late Irene P. Kempf nee Burke. Loving father of Wayne Jr., Gary (Theresa) and Glenn Kempf. Dearest grandfather of Wayne III, Kathleen (Andrew), Tracey, Brett (Debbie), Danielle (Tony), Michael (Megan) and Gary (Alyssa). Proud great grandfather of Logan, Andrew Jr., Keleb, Adam, Aiden, Samantha, Tenley, Sophia, Gavin, Vanessa and the late Matthew. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Wayne Kempf leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this twenty-fourth day of September, 2015, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Wayne Kempf and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.
