At the request of the Commissioner of Fleet and Facility Management, I transmit herewith ordinance authorizing the execution of a lease agreement with the Chicago Audubon Society.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO-
SECTION 1: On behalf of the City of Chicago as Landlord, the Commissioner of the Department of Fleet and Facility Management is authorized to execute a Lease with the Chicago Audubon Society, as Tenant, governing the use of approximately 225 square feet of office space located in Room 104 of 5801 North Pulaski Road; such Lease to be approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel in substantially the following form:

THIS LEASE is made and entered into this day of 2012, by
and between THE CITY OF CHICAGO, an Illinois municipal corporation and home rule unit of government (hereinafter referred to as "Landlord" or "City") and the CHICAGO AUDUBON SOCIETY, an Illinois not-for-profit corporation, (hereinafter referred to as "Tenant").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, Landlord is the owner of the property more commonly known as North Park Village located at 5801 North Pulaski Road, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, Tenant has requested continued access to office space located in Room 104 of the Administration Building at 5801 North Pulaski Road; and
WHEREAS, Landlord has no present municipal use for Room 104 of the Administration Building at 5801 North Pulaski Road; and

WHEREAS, Landlord has agreed to lease to Tenant, and Tenant has agreed to lease from Landlord, approximately 225 square feet of office space located in Room 104 of the Administration Building at 5801 North Pulaski Road; and
