WHEREAS, on June 6, 2012, the City Council of the City of Chicago ("City") passed an ordinance approving the dedication of an "L" shaped alley for the Stateway Gardens Phase I Subdivision, which alley lies in the block bounded by West 36th Street, West 37th Street, South Dearborn Street and South State Street (the "Stateway Gardens Phase I Dedication Ordinance"); and
 
WHEREAS, the Stateway Gardens Phase I Dedication Ordinance appears in the Journal of Proceeding of June 6, 2012 (the "June 6, 2012 Journal") at page 28837 and continued on page 28840; and
 
WHEREAS, it was recently determined that the Stateway Gardens Phase I Dedication Ordinance and June 6, 2012 Journal inadvertently excluded the Plat of Dedication as a necessary exhibit to the Stateway Gardens Phase I Dedication Ordinance; and
 
WHEREAS, the City seeks to correct the June 6, 2012 Journal by including the corrected pages to the June 6, 2012 Journal and the Plat of Dedication, all of which are attached hereto as Exhibit A, in an effort to correct the errors in order to ensure the accuracy of the Stateway Gardens Phase I Dedication Ordinance; now, therefore,
 
 
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
 
SECTION 1.  Pages 28837 and 28840 of the June 6, 2012 Journal are hereby replaced with the pages attached hereto as Exhibit A.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
 
EXHIBIT A CORRECTED DEDICATION ORDINANCE AND PLAT OF DEDICATION
 
DEDICATION ORDINANCE
 
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
 
SECTION 1. Chicago Department of Transportation or its assigners, is hereby authorized and directed to approve an alley dedication legally described as Lot 3, in Block G, in Stateway Gardens Phase 1, being a subdivision of part of various lots and blocks and vacated streets and alleys in various subdivisions in the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 39 North, Range 14 East of . the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof recorded August 19, 2005 as Document Number 0523145025, in Cook County, Illinois (File No. 33-03-11-3256), and as shown and legally described in the attached plat (Exhibit A) which, for greater certainty, is hereby made a part of this ordinance.
 
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. This dedication shall take effect and be in force from and after its recording.
