RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Irene P. Kempf to her eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Irene P. Kempf nee Burke, of Chicago, loving wife of 66 years to Wayne Kempf Sr.; loving mother of Wayne Jr., Gary (Theresa), and Glenn Kempf; dearest grandmother of Wayne III, Kathleen (Andrew), Tracey, Brett, Danielle (Tony), Michael (Megan), and Gary (Alyssa); proud great-grandmother of Logan, Andrew Jr., Kaleb, Adam, Samantha, Tenley, Sophia, and the late Matthew; cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews; loving sister to Francis DeCaprio, Bernard (Betty) Burke, the late Dorothy Daniels and Thomas Burke. Irene P. Kempf leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this fifteenth day of November, 2012, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Irene P. Kempf and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Irene P. Kempf.
