RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, God in His infinite Wisdom has called Mercedes Moses to her eternal reward; and
WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of her passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman ofthe 13th Ward; and
WHEREAS, Mercedes Beloved wife ofthe late James J. Moses; loving mother of Mercedes (late Stanley) Madey, Bernadette Moses, Beatrice (James) Winters and the late James Moses Jr.; loving grandma of Carol (Jordan Samuels) Madey, Andrew Madey, James Winters, Rebecca (Gavin Judge) Winters and Margaret Winters; loving great-grandma of Quinn Winters and Madeleine and Benjamin Samuels; loving sister ofthe late Bernadette (late Franz) Paciga; loving Godmother to Mercedes Kouba; loving friend to Nancy Sans; loving sister-in-law to many; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mercedes Moses leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this fifteenth day of November, 2012, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Mercedes Moses and extend to her family and friends our deepest sympathy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be prepared and presented to the family of Mercedes Moses.
