SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Chicago Department of Transportation, the Commissioner or his assigners, is hereby authorized and directed to approve a proposed "BRIDGEPORT COLLECTION RESUBDIVISION" being a resubdivision of lots in the block bounded by W. 38th Street, W. 38th Place, S. Normal Avenue and The Penna Railroad, and legally described in the attached plat (Exhibit A, File: 33-11-12-3570) which, for greater certainty, is hereby made a part of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. The vacation herein provided for is made upon the express condition that within 180 days after the passage of this ordinance, TD Capital Investment, LLC shall deposit in the City Treasury of the City of Chicago, a sum sufficient to defray the costs of removing paving and curb returns and constructing sidewalk and curb at the entrance to that part of the alley and street adjacent to the area hereby resubdivided, similar to the adjacent and contiguous sidewalk and curb.
SECTION 3. The subdivision herein provided for is made upon the express condition that within one hundred eighty (180) days after the passage of this ordinance, the applicant shall file or cause to be filed for recording in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois a certified copy of this ordinance, together with the attached Exhibit A being the Plat of Subdivision approved by the Department of Transportation / Superintendent of Maps and Plats, as well a separately recorded oversized and legible copy of the same Plat of Subdivision for greater clarity.
SECTION 4. This ordinance and exhibit subdivision plat shall take effect and be in force from and after its recording.
