Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to CANAL TC, LLC, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to construct, install, maintain and use thirty-nine (39) Pile Caps(s) under the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 1100 S. Canal St
Said Pile Caps(s) at S Canal St measure(s):
Nineteen (19) at one point four two (1.42) foot in length, and seven point five (7.5) feet in width for a total of two hundred two point three five (202.35) square feet.
Said Pile Caps(s) at W Taylor St measure(s):
Two (2) at one point three three (1.33) foot in length, and seven point five (7.5) feet in width for a total of nineteen point nine five (19.95) square feet.
One (1) at one point one seven (1.17) foot in length, and seven point five (7.5) feet in width for a total of eight point seven eight (8.78) square feet.
One (1) at' point six seven (.67) feet in length, and seven point five (7.5) feet in width for a total of five point zero three (5.03) square feet.
One (1) at point four two (.42) feet in length, and seven point five (7.5) feet in width for a total of three point one five (3.15) square feet.
One (1) at point one seven (.17) feet in length, and seven point five (7.5) feet in width for a total of one point two eight (1.28) square feet.
Said Pile Caps(s) at S Clinton St measure(s):
Five (5) at one point five (1.5) foot in length, and seven point five (7.5) feet in width for a total of fifty-six point two five (56.25) square feet.
Three (3) at one point four two (1.42) foot in length, and seven point five (7.5) feet in width for a total of thirty-one point nine five (31.95) square feet.
One (1) atone point four two (1.42) foot in length, and nineteen point five (19.5) feet in width for a total of twenty-seven point six nine (27.69) square feet.
One (1) atone point two five (1.25) foot in length, and nineteen point five (19.5) feet in width for a total of twenty-four point three eight (24.38) square feet.
Four (4) at one point two five (1.25) foot in length, and seven point five (7.5) feet in width for a total of thirty-seven point five (37.5) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Transportation (Office of Underground Coordination).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.

The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1103520 herein granted the sum of four hundred ($400.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
Page 2
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.

An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Business Assistance Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council.
