In accordance with section. 2-32-515. of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Office'of the City Treasurer is providing your offices with a copy of the amended Statement of Investment Policy and Guidelines. The amended Policy provides' the Treasurer's Office additional flexibility as well as aligns the Policy with the changes to section 2-32-520 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, as adopted by City Council on November 15, 2012.
If further discussion is requested, I would be more than happy to discuss the changes to the Statement of Investment Policy and Guidelines.

The Municipal Code of Chicago (the "Municipal Code") authorizes the City Treasurer to invest funds of the City of Chicago (the "City") in certain authorized classes of securities.
