Se It Ordained by the City Council ofthe City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to 4500 SOUTH KOLIN LLC, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, two (2) Occupation of Spaces (Parking) on the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 4500 S. Kolin Ave
Said Occupation of Space (Parking) at S. Kolin Avenue measure(s):
One (1) at three hundred (300) feet in length, and seventeen (17) feet in width for a total of five thousand one hundred (5100) square feet.
Said Occupation of Space (Parking) at W. 45th Street measure(s):
One (1) at one thousand one hundred thirty-four (1134) feet in length, and seventeen (17) feet in width for a total of nineteen thousand two hundred seventy-eight (19278) square feet.
Existing sidewalk adjacent to the building line shall measure four (4) feet in width. Existing parking spaces immediately adjacent to the sidewalk shall measure seventeen (17) feet in width. Total width from building line to end of parking is twenty-one (21) feet. Each parking stall shall be nine (9) feet in width. Total number of parking spaces shall be sixty-three (63). Total square footage is twenty-four thousand three hundred seventy-eight (24,378) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Planning and Development, Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development), and Department of Transportation (Office of Underground Coordination).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1104075 herein granted the sum of five thousand one hundred seventy-two ($5,172.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a occupation of space(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Business Assistance Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
