Resolution for Phillip Oliver Coleman
WHEREAS, It is with great sadness that the members of the City Council of the City of Chicago are hereby informed ofthe passing of Mr. Phillip Oliver Coleman, a young and influential leader, by Alderman Sandi Jackson, and
WHEREAS, Phillip 0. Coleman, was born August 1,1974 in Chicago, Illinois to Percy and Lena Coleman; and
WHEREAS, Phillip O. Coleman religiously demonstrated a strong faith in GOD and love for justice, he left an indelible imprint on the countless individuals he worshipped and studied with, advocated on behalf of, and worked in cooperation with;
WHEREAS, Philljp O. Coleman, is survived by his parents Percy and Lena, sister Jacqueline, brother Jeffery, niece Lauren, grandmother Olivia, uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of relatives and friends from coast to coast; and
WHEREAS, Phillip 0. Coleman will be deeply missed, but the memory of his character will live on in those who knew and loved him; now and therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that we, the Mayor and members ofthe City Council ofthe City of Chicago, gathered here this January 17, 2013, do hereby express our sorrow due to the death of Phillip 0. Coleman and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy, and
