RESOLUTION HONORING CHARLIE JO CHO FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS
IN ASSIMILATING THE KOREAN CULTURE INTO THE FABRIC OF CHICAGO
WHEREAS, Mr. Charlie Jo Cho has been a long time Chicagoan, bridging the gap between his native homeland of Korea and the U.S.A.; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Cho received his Associate Masters degree in management and manufacturing from Dongkuk University and his B.S.A. in the science of food manufacture process from Kunkun University both universities in Seoul, Korea; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Cho has served in many professional capacities that have assisted residents of all ethnicities including President of ILITE LLC, Chicago Korean Publicity Committee, the Illinois Korean PAC Group, Chicago Korean Chamber of Commerce, Chicago Asian Chamber of Commerce, President of Dental One Insurance Company and Advisor to the Korean Handicapped Association; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Cho has been instrumental in promoting tourism and Democratic candidates throughout his career; and
WHEREAS, We are grateful as a city, to have in our midst, a gentleman such as Mr. Charlie Jo Cho tout Chicago to the world stage as a destination that should not be missed; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the City of Chicago City Council gathered here this 13th day of February, 2013 A.D. do hereby congratulate Mr. Charlie Jo Cho in his efforts to shine a bright light on the City of Chicago.
