ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 2-8-065(c)(l) of the Municipal Code of Chicago ("Code"), the appropriate city departments are hereby authorized and directed to waive, in full, all permit fees, plan review fees and on-site inspection fees otherwise required to be paid by the below-named governmental entity in connection with the demolition, new construction, erection, maintenance, remodeling and renovation of building(s) and facilities, commonly known as U.S. Cellular Field, located at:
Illinois Sports Facilities Authority
333 W. 35,n Street
As a continued condition to the grant of this waiver, said building(s) and facilities and all appurtenances thereto shall be used exclusively for governmental purposes, including stadium and related uses such as parking, and shall not be leased or otherwise used with a view to profit. All work thereon shall be done in accordance with plans submitted to and approved by the appropriate city department. Said building(s) and all appurtenances thereto shall be constructed and maintained in compliance with the applicable provisions of this Code and any rules and regulations duly promulgated thereunder.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication, and shall be in force until May 1, 2014.
