ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Sections 2 and 3 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.

SECTION 2. Section 4-60-022 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as new subsections 4-60-022 (29.4) through 4-60-022 (29.9), as follows:

4-60-022 Restrictions on additional licenses.

Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional license shall be issued for the sale of alcoholic liquor, for consumption on the premises within the following areas:

On the north side only of Roosevelt Road, from Menard Avenue to Central Avenue.
On Fillmore Street, from Menard Avenue to Central Avenue.
On Waller Avenue, from Roosevelt Road to Railroad Avenue.
On Central Avenue, from Roosevelt Road to Railroad Avenue.
On Menard Avenue, from Roosevelt Road to Railroad Avenue: and on Taylor Street, from Waller Avenue to Central Avenue.
On Railroad Avenue, from Menard Avenue to Central Avenue.

SECTION 3. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by inserting the underscored language as new subsections 4-60-023 (29.55) through 4-60-023 (29.60), as follows:

4-60-023 Restrictions on additional package goods licenses.

Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:
