AMEND TAXICAB STAND #732
 
 
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO
 
Section 1. That an ordinance passed by the City Council on February 5, 1998 page 62188 and 62190 of the Journal of Proceedings which reads, west side of South Wabash Avenue, from a point 20 feet south of East Madison Street to a point 60 feet south thereof, for three vehicles - tow-away zone, in designated area, be and the same is hereby amended by striking there from the following:
 
from a point 20 feet south of East Madison Street to a point 60 feet south thereof, for three vehicles and inserting in lieu thereof
 
from a point 60 feet south of East Madison Street to a point 20 feet south thereof, for one vehicle, Taxicab Stand #732
 
 
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force hereinafter its passage and publication.

of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a certified copy of this ordinance, together with a restrictive covenant complying with Section 2 of this ordinance, approved by the Corporation Counsel, and an attached drawing approved by the Superintendent of Maps.
 
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

ESTABLISHMENT OF TAXICAB STAND NUMBER 732 ON PORTION OF SOUTH WABASH AVENUE.
 
 
The Committee on Transportation and Public Way submitted the following report:.
 
 
CHICAGO, February 2, 1998.
 
 
To the President and Members of the City Council:
 
Your Committee on Transportation and Public Way begs leave to report and recommend that Your Honorable Body Pass an ordinance authorizing and directing the Commissioner of Transportation to establish Taxicab Stand Number 732 on the west side of South Wabash Avenue, from a point 20 feet south of East Madison Street to a point 60 feet south thereof, for three vehicles — tow-away zone. This ordinance was referred to the committee on January 14, 1998.

This recommendation was concurred in unanimously by a viva voce vote of the members of the committee, with no dissenting vote.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. That the Commissioner of Transportation is hereby authorized and directed to establish Taxicab Stand Number 732 on South Wabash Avenue (west side) from a point twenty (2.0) feet south of East Madison Street, to a point sixty (60) feet south thereof, for three (3) vehicles — tow-zone.
 
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
