BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


Section 1:


The ordinance passed by the City Council of the City of Chicago for SOUTHPORT GROCERY AND CAFE, INC. on 02/13/2013, and printed upon page 47109 of the Journal of Proceedings of the City of Chicago is here by Amended by deleting the words;

"Monday - Friday 8am-4pm Saturday 8am-5pm Sunday 8am-4pm"

and inserting in their place the words;

"Sunday - Thursday 8am-10pm Friday & Saturday 8am-11pm"


Section 2:

This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for a sidewalk cafe(s). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection -Business Assistance Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
