Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. That the Journal of the Proceedings of the City Council of the City of Chicago for the meeting held July 24, 2013 is hereby corrected by deleting in its entirety the language printed on pages 57598— 57602 and inserting in lieu thereof the language attached hereto as Exhibit "A".

Your Committee on Finance, having had under consideration an ordinance concerning the issuance of all necessary permits, free of charge, to Independence Park Advisory Council, having had the same under advisement, begs leave to report and recommend that Your Honorable Body Do Not Pass the ordinance transmitted herewith.
This recommendation was concurred in by a viva voce vote of the members of the Committee, with no dissenting vote.

Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. That the Commissioner of Buildings is hereby authorized and directed to issue all necessary permits, free of charge, notwithstanding other ordinances of the City of Chicago to the contrary to Independence Park Advisory Council along with Circus in the
 
 
Parks related to the issuance of a tent permit on the premises known as Independence Park at 3945 North Springfield Avenue.
 
Said building(s) and all appurtenances thereto shall be used exclusively for charitable and related purposes and shall not be leased or otherwise used with a view to profit, and the work thereon shall be done in accordance with plans submitted and all of the appropriate provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Chicago and departmental requirements of various departments of the City of Chicago, and said building(s) and all appurtenances thereto shall be constructed and maintained so that they shall comply in all respects with the requirements of the appropriate provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Chicago for the issuance of all necessary permits.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.

That the Commissioner of Buildings, the Commissioner of Transportation, the Commissioner of Streets and Sanitation, the Commissioner of Sewers, the Commissioner of Water, the Commissioner of Fire, the Director of Business Affairs and Licensing and the Director of Revenue are hereby directed to issue all necessary permits, all on-site water/sewer inspection fees and all water/sewer plan review fees, free of charge, notwithstanding other ordinances of the City of Chicago to the contrary, to Inspiration Corporation, doing business as The Living Room Cafe, a not-for-profit Illinois corporation, related to the erection and maintenance of building(s) and fuel storage facilities at 806 East 64th Street, Chicago, Illinois 60637.
Said building(s) and all appurtenances thereto shall be used exclusively for charitable purposes and shall not be leased or otherwise used with a view to profit, and the work thereon shall be done in accordance with plans submitted and all of the appropriate provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Chicago and departmental requirements of various departments of the City of Chicago, and said building(s) and all appurtenances thereto shall be constructed and maintained so that they shall comply in all respects with the requirements of the appropriate provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Chicago for the issuance of all permits and licenses.
 
SECTION 2. The Inspiration Corporation, doing business as The Living Room Cafe, a not-for-profit Illinois corporation located at 806 East 64th Street, engaged in cultural, educational and related activities, shall be exempt from the payment of City license fees and shall be entitled to the cancellation of warrants for the collection of inspection fees.
SECTION 3. The Inspiration Corporation, doing business as The Living Room Cafe, shall be entitled to a refund of City fees which it has paid and from which it is exempt pursuant to Sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance.
 
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in force for a period of two (2) years but in no event beyond June 8, 2014.

water/sewer inspection fees and all water/sewer plan review fees, free of charge, notwithstanding other ordinances of the City of Chicago to the contrary, to the Living Hope Church, a not-for-profit Illinois corporation, related to the erection and maintenance of building(s) and fuel storage facilities at 6414 South Cottage Grove Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60637.
 
Said building(s) and all appurtenances thereto shall be used exclusively for charitable purposes and shall not be leased or otherwise used with a view to profit, and the work thereon shall be done in accordance with plans submitted and all of the appropriate provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Chicago and departmental requirements of various departments of the City of Chicago, and said building(s) and all appurtenances thereto shall be constructed and maintained so that they shall comply in all respects with the requirements of the appropriate provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Chicago for the issuance of all permits and licenses.
 
SECTION 2. The Living Hope Church, a not-for-profit Illinois corporation located at 6414 South Cottage Grove Avenue, engaged in cultural, educational, community service and related activities, shall be exempt from the payment of City license fees and shall be entitled to the cancellation of warrants for the collection of inspection fees.
SECTION 3. The Living Hope Church shall be entitled to a refund of City fees which it has paid and from which it is exempt pursuant to Sections 1 and 2 of this ordinance.
 
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in force for a period of two (2) years but in no event beyond May 18, 2015.
