ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds that the areas described in Section 2 through 5 of this ordinance are adversely affected by the over-concentration of businesses licensed to sell alcoholic liquor within and near the areas.
SECTION 2. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (29.2), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of June 30, 2009 at page 65545, with the following underscored text:
4-60-023 (29.2) On North Avenue, from Menard Avenue to Austin Avenue.
SECTION 3. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (29.26), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of October 3, 2012 at page 35377, with the following underscored text:
4-60-023 (29.26) On the south side of Madison Street, from Laramie Avenue to Pine Street.
SECTION 4. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by replacing subsection 4-60-023 (29.49), which was previously deleted as shown in the Journal of Proceedings of April 9, 2008 at page 24846, with the following underscored text:
4-60-023 (29.49) On the east side of Narragansett Avenue, from Fullerton Avenue to
Dickens Avenue.
SECTION 5 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
