ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
 
SECTION 1. Chapter 8-4 ofthe Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by adding a new Section 8-4-035, as follows:
 
8-4-035 Permitting drinking on business premises located in vote-dry areas.
 
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Code, it shall be unlawful for any business establishment located in an area where no liquor may be sold at retail as the result of a referendum pursuant to the Liquor Control Act, or any employee or agent thereof, to permit the consumption of any alcoholic liquor on the premises of that establishment.
