SINGLE DIRECTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 64, Section 010 of the Municipal
Code of Chicago, the operator of a vehicle shall operate such vehicle only in the direction specified below on the public ways between the limits indicated:
WARD AMEND SINGLE DIRECTION:
5 S. University Avenue; Amend ordinance passed 3/2/51, journal page 7972, by
striking therefrom: S. University Avenue from Hyde Park Boulevard to E. 59th Street, Single Direction (northerly) and inserting in lieu thereof; S. University Avenue from Hyde Park Boulevard to E. 58th Street, Single Direction (northerly) [02014-339]
8 S. Stony Island Avenue; Amend Ordinance passed 9-16-1992, journal page
21073, which reads: E. 71st Place from Dorchester Avenue to S. Stony Island Avenue one way westbound by striking S. Stony Island Avenue and inserting in lieu thereof; first alley west of S. Stony Island Avenue, Two Way Traffic movement [O2013- 6166]
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage and publication.

Your Committee on Pedestrian and Traffic Safety to which were referred proposed ordinances to amend Single Direction of vehicular traffic movement on portions of sundry streets, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed substitute ordinances transmitted herewith.
This recommendation was concurred in by all members ofthe committee present, with no dissenting votes.
