RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Robert W. Gaines to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by Alderman Frank J. Olivo; and

WHEREAS, The beloved husband of Nancy, loving father of Robert, Jennifer, Jaime, Julie (Clayton) and Matthew, beloved son of Germaine and the late Robert, proud grandfather of nine, dear brother of Barbara (William), Germaine (Daniel) and Patricia, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, Robert W. Gaines, leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now therefore

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this third day of November, 2010, do hereby express our sorrow on the death of Robert W. Gaines and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Robert W. Gaines.
