TRAFFIC WARNING SIGN AND/OR SIGNALS
 
 
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
 
SECTION 1.   Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 64, of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the following locations are hereby designated as Traffic Warning Signs and Signals, between the limits and during the times specified, standing or parking of any vehicle shall be considered a definite hazard to the normal movement of traffic:
 
 
WARD      TRAFFIC WARNING SIGNS AND/OR SIGNALS:
 
25      S. May Street; All Way Stop Sign, S. May Street and W. Washington Boulevard,
stopping all approaches. CDOT does not recommend stop signs on major streets because they increase the frequency of rear-end collisions and divert traffic to local streets. CDOT does not support installing stop signs at W. Washington Boulevard and S. May Street - (14-00418628) [Or2013-539]
 
 
 
WARD      AMEND TRAFFIC WARNING SIGNS AND/OR SIGNALS:
45      5600 W. Lawrence Avenue; Repeal No Parking Rush Hour, W. Lawrence Avenue
between N. Central Avenue to N. Laramie Avenue [02014-3276]

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage

To the President and Members of the City Council:
 
Your Committee on Pedestrian and Traffic Safety, to which were referred proposed ordinance and orders to erect and amend Traffic Warning Signs and Signals, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed substitute ordinances and orders submitted herewith.
This recommendation was concurred in by all members of the committee present, with no dissenting votes.
