BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
Section 1:
The ordinance passed by the City Council ofthe City of Chicago for DOLPHIN on 10/08/2014, and printed upon page 92946 of the Journal of Proceedings of the City of Chicago is here by Amended by deleting the words
"One (1) Canopy
Said canopy(s) at measure(s):
One (1) at nine (9) feet in length, and four point five (4.5) feet in width for a total of forty point five (40.5) square feet.
the sum of fifty ($50.00) per annum in advance"
and inserting in their place the words
"Seven (7) canopies
Said Canopies along West Webster Avenue measure(s):
One (1) at seventy-two (72) point eight (8) feet in length and six point five (6.5) feet in width. Existing canopy is approximately eight (8) feet above grade level.
One (1) at sixteen (16) feet in length and eight (8) feet in width. Existing canopy is approximately nine (9) feet above grade level.
Two (2) at seven point eight (7.8) feet in length and three point four (3.4) feet in width. Existing canopies are approximately seven point nine (7.9) feet above grade level.
One (1) at six point ten (6.10) feet in length and three point four (3.4) feet in width. Existing canopy is approximately eight point four (8.4) feet above grade level.
One (1) at seven point nine (7.9) feet in length and three point four (3.4) feet in width. Existing canopy is approximately eight point three (8.3) feet above grade level.
Said canopy along North Ashland Avenue measure(s):
One (1) at seven point nine (7.9) feet in length and three point four (3.4) feet in width. Existing canopy is approximately seven point nine (7.9) feet above grade level.
the sum of one hundred seventy-five ($175.00) per annum in advance"

This ordinance Amendment shall be in effect upon its passage.

The applicant referenced above has requested the use of the public right-of-way for canopy(ies). An ordinance has been prepared by the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection - Small Business Center - Public Way Use Unit for presentation to the City Council. Because this request was made for properties located in your ward, as approved by you as per the attached, I respectfully request that you introduce the attached ordinance at the next City Council meeting.
