SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE
 
 
 
 
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
 
 
SECTION 1. Section 4-60-023 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by deleting the language struck through, as follows:
4-60-023  Restrictions on additional licenses.
Subject to the provisions of subsection 4-60-021 (c), no additional package goods license shall be issued for any premises located within the following areas:

(4&6) On Rogers Avenue, from Birchwood Avenue to Faulina Street; and on Jarvis Avenue, from Greenview Avenue to Ashland Avenue.

Your Committee on License and Consumer Protection, having under consideration a substitute ordinance introduced by Alderman Joseph Moore(which was referred on January 21, 2015), to amend the Municipal Code of Chicago lifting subsection 4-60-023 (49.6) to allow the issuance of additional packaged goods licenses on portion of Rogers Avenue, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body pass the substitute ordinance which is transmitted herewith.
 
This recommendation was concurred in by a viva voce vote of the members of the committee on March 11, 2015.
