RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Robert T. Bresnahan Sr. to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Robert T. Bresnahan Sr., Retired Chicago Police Officer District 7, Vietnam War Army Vet. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Grzesiak); loving father of Donna (Robert) Haugh, Robert Jr. (Nancy) Bresnahan and Karen (Ray Sliva) Akiyama; devoted grandfather of Taylor, Ashley, Steven, Sarah, Kyle, Maddie and Marisa; fond brother of Nancy (John) Adlfinger; devoted companion of Sharon O'Donnell; dear brother-in-law of Carole (the late Ronald) Grzesiak, Martin(the late Audrey) Pavlik and the late Donna Grzesiak; dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews; dear master and best buddy of Brandy. Robert T. Bresnahan Sr. leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eighteenth day of March, 2015, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Robert T. Bresnahan Sr. and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Robert T. Bresnahan Sr.
