RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has called Edward S. Pakula to his eternal reward; and

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of his passing by the Honorable Marty Quinn, Alderman of the 13^th Ward; and

WHEREAS, Edward S. Pakula, age 83. Beloved husband of the late Catherine A. (nee Kenny)?. Loving father of Richard C.P.D. (Kimberlee), Kathleen (Anthony) Luzzi, Kenneth C.P.D., Edward S. Jr. C.P.D. (Cynthia C.P.D), and Lawrence (Tina) Pakula. Dear grandpa of Alexander, Kyle, Zachary, Samantha, Jacob, Joseph, Joshua, and Nigel. Devoted brother of Robert (the late Beatrice) and the late Charles (Virginia) Pakula. Edward was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Edward S. Pakula leaves a legacy of faith, dignity, compassion and love; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED, That we, the Mayor and members of the Chicago City Council gathered here this eighteenth day of March, 2015, hereby express our sorrow on the death of Edward S. Pakula and extend to his family and friends our deepest sympathy.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a suitable copy be presented to the family of Edward S. Pakula.
