ORDINANCE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1. This ordinance shall be known and may be cited as the 2015-2018 Exception to Wrigley Field Adjacent Area Ordinance.

1. For purposes of this ordinance, the following definitions apply:

"Rooftop" and "special club license" have the meaning ascribed to those terms in section 4-388-010.

"Event day" means the day on which an event occurs.

"Event" means any event authorized to take place within Wrigley Field stadium pursuant to section 4-156-430(B)(8) and which occurs in the years 2015 through and including 2018.

1. Notwithstanding section 4-388-080, rooftops issued a special club license pursuant to chapter 4-388 may be open for business on event days, for exclusive invitees only, subject to this ordinance. The serving of beer and wine may be commenced no more than two hours prior to the scheduled start of an event, and end no later than one hour after completion of the event; provided that, regardless when an event commences or ends, beer and wine shall not be served after 11:00 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday, after 11:59 p.m. on Friday or Saturday, or prior to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
2. The special club licensee shall comply with all other provisions of chapter 4-388, applicable provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago, and all applicable ordinances or agreements to which the special club licensee is subject, or has agreed to, that set forth neighborhood protections, enhancements or benefits.
3. This ordinance expires on December 31, 2018.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its passage and publication.
