SINGLE DIRECTION

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

 

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 64, Section 010 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the operator of a vehicle shall operate such vehicle only in the Direction Specified below on the public ways between the limits indicated:

 

 

WARD                     SINGLE DIRECTION:

 

14                     W. 47th Street; First alley south of W.47th Street from S.Tripp Avenue to S. Kolin

Avenue; One Way - Westerly [02014-5883]

 

16                     6200 Block of S. Seeley Avenue; Single Direction - Southerly [O2015-3169]

 

42                     N. Garland Court; N. Garland Court from E. Randolph Street to E. Washington Street;

Single Direction - Southerly - (15-02154032) [02015-4017]

 

 

 

WARD                     AMEND SINGLE DIRECTION:

 

26                     1031-1037 N. Christiana Avenue; Amend Ordinance Passed 11/28/1956, journal page

3547 which reads: N. Christiana Avenue from W. Division Street to W. Grand Avenue, by Striking the above and inserting in lieu thereof: N. Christiana Avenue from W. Division Street to the first alley north of W. Grand Avenue; Single Direction -Southerly - (15-02395662) [02015-3267]

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage

Your Committee on Pedestrian and Traffic Safety to which were referred proposed ordinance(s) and/or order(s) to establish and/or amend Single Direction of vehicular traffic movement on portions of sundry streets, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed substitute ordinance(s) and/or order(s) transmitted herewith.

This recommendation was concurred in by all members of the Committee present, with no dissenting votes.
