CONGRATULATIONS EXTENDED TO 007" DISTRICT POLICE OFFICER LORIE O 'SHEA ON RETIREMENT FROM CHICAGO POLICE

DEPARTMENT

 

 

WHEREAS, Police Officer Lorie O'Shea, Star #977, retired from the Chicago Police Department on May 15, 2015, following twenty-one years of dedicated public service; and

 

WHEREAS, The Chicago City Council has been informed of this special event by Toni L. Foulkes, Alderman ofthe 16lh Ward; and

 

WHEREAS, Throughout her long and distinguished tenure, Officer O'Shea upheld the finest traditions of the law enforcement community and her hard work, commitment and dedication to duty earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues; and

 

WHEREAS, Officer O'Shea is a valued member of the 007th Police District community and her presence will be sorely missed. She has earned the respect not only of her colleagues, but also of the grateful residents of the 007th District; and

 

WHEREAS, The leaders of this great City of Chicago are cognizant of the great debt owed our public servants; now, therefore,

 

Be It Resolved, That we, the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago, gathered this twenty eighth day of October 2015, do hereby express our gratitude and heartiest congratulations to 007th District Police Officer Lorie O'Shea as she retires from twenty-one years of outstanding service to the people of this great city and we extend our very best wishes for her continued success and fulfillment; and
