Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Permission and authority are hereby given and granted to KTCP 225 LLC, upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this ordinance to maintain and use, as now constructed, six (6) Building Projection(s) projecting over the public right-of-way adjacent to its premises known as 225 W. Washington St
Said Building Projection(s) at W. Washington Street measure(s):
One (1) at twenty-seven (27) feet in length, and point nine two (.92) feet in width for a total of twenty-four point eight four (24.84) square feet.
Said Building Projection(s) at W. Washington Street measure(s):
One (1) at thirty (30) feet in length, and point five eight (.58) feet in width for a total of seventeen point four (17.4) square feet.
Said Building Projection(s) at N. Franklin Street measure(s):
One (1) at ninety-seven (97) feet in length, and one point four two (1.42) foot in width for a total of one hundred thirty-seven point seven four (137.74) square feet.
Said Building Projection(s) at N. Franklin Street measure(s):
One (1) at thirty (30) feet in length, and point six seven (.67) feet in width for a total of twenty point one (20.1) square feet.
Said Building Projection(s) at W. Calhoun Place measure(s):
One (1) at twenty-seven (27) feet in length, and point five eight (.58) feet in width for a total of fifteen point six six (15.66) square feet.
Said Building Projection(s) at W. Calhoun Place measure(s):
One (1) at twenty (20) feet in length, and point three three (.33) feet in width for a total of six point six (6.6) square feet.
The location of said privilege shall be as shown on prints kept on file with the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection and the Office of the City Clerk.
Said privilege shall be constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department of Planning and Development and Department of Transportation (Division of Project Development).
This grant of privilege in the public way shall be subject to the provisions of Section 10-28-015 and all other required provisions of the Municipal Code of Chicago.
The grantee shall pay to the City of Chicago as compensation for the privilege #1120490 herein granted the sum of two thousand four hundred ($2,400.00) per annum in advance.
A 25% penalty will be added for payments received after due date.
The permit holder agrees to hold the City of Chicago harmless for any damage, relocation or replacement costs associated with damage, relocation or removal of private property caused by the City performing work in the public way.
