SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

SECTION 1: On behalf of the City of Chicago as Tenant, the Commissioner of the Department of Fleet and Facility Management is authorized to execute a Lease with 1001 Connecticut, LLC as Landlord for use of approximately 1,712 square feet of office space located at 1001 Connecticut Avenue N.W., Suite 425, Washington D.C. for occupancy by the Mayor's Office; such Lease to be approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit A.

SECTION 2: On behalf of the City of Chicago as Occupant, the Commissioner of the Department of Fleet and Facility Management is authorized to execute a temporary Occupancy License with 1001 Connecticut, LLC as the Owner for use of approximately 4,059 square feet of office space located at 1001 Connecticut Avenue N.W., Suite 930, Washington D.C. for occupancy by the Mayor's Office while the build-out work is being completed at the leased space in Suite 425; such Occupancy License to be approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit B.

SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be effective from and after the date of its passage and approval.
