Illinois State Council K of C Charities, Inc. is covered under the State Council's General Liability Insurance Policy as an additionally insured". Our councils will be participating in our annual ID drive on September 16-18, 2016 commonly known as the "Tootsie Roll Drive" which will be covered under our general liability insurance which is for $2 million dollars (See Attached current Policy) with an additional $1 million umbrella.

The Illinois State Council General Liability Policy is renewed annually on a July 1 through June 30th basis. A new policy for the next renewal period will not be issued by our insurance carrier until July 1 at the earliest.

As soon as our new policies are written, a renewed policy will be issued to the City of Chicago and automatically sent to you for this event. Until that time, our old policy and limits is attached for your reference.

We hope this will satisfy your requirements for this permit to be processed and allow our councils to hold this collection date.

As soon as the proclamation from the new governor is received, this also will be forwarded to you under separate cover
