SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Chicago:
SECTION 1. Chicago Department of Transportation, the Commissioner or any of her designees, are hereby authorized and directed to approve a proposed Shops and Lofts Resubdivision being a vertical resubdivision of certain lots in the block bounded by W. 47th Street, E. 48th Street, S. Evans Avenue and S. Cottage Grove Avenue, and legally described in the attached plat (Exhibit A, CDOT File: 10-04-15-3692) which, for greater certainty, is hereby made a part of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. The subdivision herein provided for is made upon the express condition that within one hundred eighty (180) days after the passage of this ordinance, Lofts 47 Phase 1 Limited Partnership, an Illinois limited partnership, and Mahogany Shops 47 LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, licensed to transact business in Illinois, shall file or cause to be filed for record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois a certified copy of this ordinance, together with the attached Plat approved by the Department of Transportation / Superintendent of Maps.
SECTION 3. This ordinance and exhibit subdivision plat shall take effect and be in force from and after its recording.
