BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:


SECTION 1. Title 18 of the Municipal Code of Chicago is hereby amended by repealing existing Chapter 18-13 and by inserting in its place a new Chapter 18-13, as follows:

CHAPTER 18-13 ENERGY CONSERVATION

ARTICLE 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

18-13-100 Referenced codes and standards.
The following codes and standards are adopted by reference and, unless otherwise modified by this chapter, shall be considered part ofthe requirements of this chapter to the extent of each prescribed reference: 2015 International Energy: Conservation Code, including, but not limited to, IECC—Commercial Provisions (hereinafter known as "IECC 2015 - CE") and
1ECC Residential Provisions (hereinafter known as "IECC 2015 - RE"); A MSI/A SHRA E/IES
Standard 90.1-2013. including all published errata and excluding published Addenda that encompass ASHRAE 90.1-2013 (hereinafter known as "ANSI/ASHRAE 90.1-2013); Appendix RA Recommended Procedure for Worst-Case Testing of Atmospheric Venting Systems Under R402.4 or R405 Conditions < 5 ACTI50 (hereinafter known as ''Appendix RA"); and Appendix RB Solar-Ready Provisions - Detached One- and Two-family Dwellings, Multiple Single-family Dwellings (Townhouses) (hereinafter known as "Appendix RB"). Provided, however, that Appendix RA is informative only; compliance with its provisions is not mandatory.
