RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, We the members of the Chicago City Council would like to extend greetings best wishes to Mrs. June M. Davis in the recognition of 50 years of service to the Chicago Teacher's Union and the Chicago Public Schools ; and
WHEREAS, I, Alderman Emma Mitts, would like to pay tribute to Mrs. June M. Davis on
the occasion of this well-deserved honor in recognition of your many years of stellar dedication as a Paraprofessional School Related Personnel (PSRP) , and Citizen in the City of Chicago; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. June M. Davis has provided many years' of service this is a time in which a person celebrates their past and acknowledge their present; with the spirit of love from friends and relatives abound; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. June M. Davis is a woman of God, a woman at all times oriented towards the service of others; she is a mother, grandmother of one and great grandmother of two.
WHEREAS, Mrs. June M. Davis is a friend to the poor, a mother to motherless; and whenever a wonderful talented and highly capable lady such as you, cross one's life path, it is always the right time to give recognition and praise they deserve for their spirit, exemplary level of professionalism, and job well done over many years of service to the community.
"Be it Resolved, That we, the Mayor and the members of the City Council of City of Chicago, gathered here this 16th day of November 2016 A.D., do hereby congratulate Mrs. June Davis on the occasion of her retirement after 50n years of service and extend our best wishes for continue health, happiness and success in all future endeavors; and" the 37th Ward has reserved Saturday, 19th to express their unconditional gratitude and to assure unwavering support to Mrs. Davis during this 50th year Retirement Roast Celebration 2016; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a suitable copy of this resolution is presented to Mrs. M. Davis, as she is duly celebrating her 50lh retirement, as a token of our esteem and good wishes.
