PARKING METERS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 64, Section 200 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the Commissioner of Transportation is hereby authorized and directed to establish and/or amend a Parking Meter area, as follows:
WARD AMEND PARKING METERS:
1 9-64-206 (D) Parking meters-Hours of Operations, (Omitted text is unaffected by
this ordinance) (d) In addition to hours provided in subsections (a), (b) and (c), parking meters on the following streets shall operate from 10:00AM to 8:00PM on Sundays. North Milwaukee Avenue between North Western Avenue and North Sacramento Avenue.
9-64-206 (B) Parking meters -Hours of operation (Omitted text is unaffected by this ordinance), (b) in addition to the hours provided in subsection (d) on all others streets that are not residential streets (nonresidential streets), parking meters shall operate from 8:00AM to 10:00PM, Monday through Saturday, except meters shall operate: the ( 1) areas set forth in Section 9-64-206 B and (b) shall operate 24 hours per day, Monday through Saturday. (2) the following lots shall operate 24 hours per day Monday through Saturday from 10:00AM to 8:00PM, on Sundays. (I) 3120 North Greenview Avenue; (ii) 1530 West Barry Avenue; (iii) 1635 West Melrose Street. [02016-7560]
1 West Armitage Avenue; West Armitage Avenue (south side) between North California
Avenue and North Fairfield Avenue; Parking Meters, And Also Repeal Ordinance which reads: 1900-1999 North Fairfield Avenue; Parking Meters, by Striking the above [02016-7681]
3300 North Sheffield; Amend Parking Meter 609-209, from 8 spaces to 4 spaces, Remove the spots from the northern metered zone [02016-5452]
3900-3999 North Monticello Avenue; Repeal Ordinance which reads: 3900-3999 North Monticello Avenue (east side); Parking Meters by Striking the above, And Also install Parking Meters at North Milwaukee Avenue from West Cuyler Street to West Belle Plain Avenue [02016-7140]
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage and publication.
