SINGLE DIRECTION

 

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO:

 

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Title 9, Chapter 64, Section 010 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, the operator of a vehicle shall operate such vehicle only in the Direction Specified below on the public ways between the limits indicated:

 

 

WARD                     SINGLE DIRECTION:

25                     South Miller Street; South Miller Street from West 18th Street to West 16th Street;

Single Direction - Northerly - (15-06282906) [02015-7715]

 

 

WARD                     AMEND SINGLE DIRECTION:

35                     North St Louis Avenue; Repeal Ordinance Passed 08/30/1972, journal page 3629,

which reads: North St Louis Avenue between West Wrightwood Avenue and West Diversey Avenue; Single Direction - Northerly, by Striking the above [02016-7147]

45                     North Lamon Avenue; Amend Ordinance Passed 10/18/1939, journal page 1097,

which reads: North Lamon Avenue from West Irving Park Road to North Lamon Avenue from West Irving Park Road to West Byron Street; Single Direction - Northerly, by Striking: West Irving Park Road and inserting In lieu thereof: West Dakin Street -(16-05266592) [02016-5691]

 

SECTION 2. and publication.

 

 

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force here in after its passage

Your Committee on Pedestrian and Traffic Safety to which were referred proposed ordinance(s) and/or order(s) to establish and/or amend Single Direction of vehicular traffic movement on portions of sundry streets, begs leave to recommend that Your Honorable Body DO PASS the proposed substitute ordinance(s) and/or order(s) transmitted herewith.

This recommendation was concurred in by all members of the Committee present, with no dissenting votes.
